14 August 2026 Chhattisgarh Chief Minister meets His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin in RaipurSyedna contributed towards education and welfare of tribal children in the stateRAIPUR: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai called on His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community, in Raipur on Friday, welcoming him to Chhattisgarh and recognising the community’s contributions to the state.The Chief Minister expressed his appreciation for the Dawoodi Bohra community’s positive contributions to the social and economic fabric of the state. He noted the longstanding presence of Bohra families in Raipur and their active role in the city’s business community and wider society.The Chief Minister also appreciated the community’s Faiz al-Mawaid al-Burhaniyah (FMB) community kitchens, through which daily meals are provided to Dawoodi Bohra households the world over. He also welcomed Syedna’s emphasis on responsible technology use among children, including his guidance to protect children from the harmful effects of smartphones.His Holiness thanked the Chief Minister and the Government of Chhattisgarh for the hospitality extended to him, his family and members of the community during his visit. He also expressed his appreciation for the state government’s development and public welfare efforts. Syedna presented an amount towards education and welfare of tribal children in the stateThe meeting was attended by senior state officials, senior members of Syedna’s entourage and representatives of the local Dawoodi Bohra community.This is His Holiness’ first visit to Chhattisgarh in a decade. From Raipur, he will travel to Bilaspur, Takhatpur and Bhatapara to meet members of the Dawoodi Bohra community
14 अगस्त 2026छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री ने रायपुर में सैयदना मुफद्दल सैफुद्दीन साहब से भेंट कीसैयदना साहब ने राज्य के आदिवासी बच्चों की शिक्षा एवं कल्याण के लिए योगदान दियारायपुर: छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री श्री विष्णु देव साय ने शुक्रवार को रायपुर में दाऊदी बोहरा समुदाय के प्रमुख परमपावन सैयदना मुफद्दल सैफुद्दीन साहब से भेंट की। उन्होंने सैयदना साहब का छत्तीसगढ़ में स्वागत किया और राज्य के विकास में दाऊदी बोहरा समुदाय के योगदान की सराहना की।मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य के सामाजिक एवं आर्थिक विकास में दाऊदी बोहरा समुदाय के सकारात्मक योगदान की प्रशंसा की। उन्होंने रायपुर में बोहरा परिवारों की लंबे समय से मौजूदगी तथा शहर के व्यापारिक क्षेत्र और व्यापक सामाजिक जीवन में उनकी सक्रिय भूमिका का उल्लेख किया।मुख्यमंत्री ने समुदाय की फैज़ अल-मवाइद अल-बुरहानियाह (FMB) सामुदायिक रसोइयों की भी सराहना की, जिनके माध्यम से विश्वभर में दाऊदी बोहरा परिवारों को प्रतिदिन भोजन उपलब्ध कराया जाता है। उन्होंने बच्चों द्वारा तकनीक के जिम्मेदार उपयोग को लेकर सैयदना साहब के मार्गदर्शन का भी स्वागत किया, जिसमें बच्चों को स्मार्टफोन के हानिकारक प्रभावों से बचाने पर विशेष जोर दिया गया है।परमपावन सैयदना मुफद्दल सैफुद्दीन साहब ने अपनी यात्रा के दौरान उन्हें, उनके परिवार तथा समुदाय के सदस्यों को प्रदान किए गए आतिथ्य के लिए मुख्यमंत्री और छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार का आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने राज्य सरकार द्वारा किए जा रहे विकास एवं जनकल्याण के प्रयासों की भी सराहना की। सैयदना साहब ने राज्य के आदिवासी बच्चों की शिक्षा एवं कल्याण के लिए एक राशि का योगदान भी दिया।बैठक में राज्य सरकार के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी, सैयदना साहब के साथ आए वरिष्ठ सदस्य तथा स्थानीय दाऊदी बोहरा समुदाय के प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित रहे।परम पावन सैयदना मुफद्दल सैफुद्दीन साहब एक दशक के अंतराल के बाद पहली बार छत्तीसगढ़ की यात्रा पर हैं। रायपुर के बाद वे बिलासपुर, तखतपुर और भाटापारा का दौरा कर दाऊदी बोहरा समुदाय के सदस्यों से मुलाकात करेंगे।
